Terms of Service

Effective date: June 18, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of LoopJoy (the “Service”), operated by Riso Development LLC. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. The Service

LoopJoy lets you create, personalize, schedule, and deliver digital greeting cards by email or SMS, with optional AI-generated message suggestions.

4. Billing, subscriptions, and refunds

  • One-off cards: $1.99 per card, charged at the time of purchase.
  • Subscription: $24.99/year for unlimited cards. Subscriptions automatically renew for successive one-year terms at $24.99/year. We charge the payment method on file on each renewal date until you cancel. We will send a renewal reminder before each annual charge where required by law.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel anytime from the billing portal (Settings → Billing) or by emailing contact@tryloopjoy.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the current paid period. California subscribers may cancel by the same online method used to subscribe.
  • Refunds: Payments are processed by Stripe. Because cards are delivered digitally and effectively immediately, all fees — including one-off card purchases and subscription charges — are non-refundable once a card is sent or a subscription term begins, except where a refund is required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact contact@tryloopjoy.com within 30 days and we will review your request.

5. Your content and license

You retain ownership of the content you submit (messages, photos, signatures). You grant Riso Development a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and transmit your content solely to operate and provide the Service (including delivering cards to recipients you designate). You represent that you have the rights to the content you submit and the right to contact the recipients you specify.

6. Acceptable use

You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. Do not use the Service to send unlawful, harassing, hateful, infringing, or deceptive content, to spam, or to send messages to people who have not consented to receive them.

7. AI-generated content

AI suggestions are provided “as is” and may be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated message before sending it.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (Stripe, OpenAI, Resend, Twilio, Cloudinary, Neon, Vercel). Your use may be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. See our Disclaimer.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Riso Development LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months or US $50.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Riso Development LLC from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and Riso Development LLC agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Collier County, Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
